Thank you so much to all the parents who were able to attend our Poet-Tea. It was a truly special day and one I hope the students will always remember!
-This week is Camp What-a-Wonder! Let me start off by saying THANK YOU to everyone who has signed up to send something in. Your support means so much!
If you've signed up for something, please send it in no later than Monday. (With the exception of the half and half, which we will need on Thursday.)
Here is our schedule for this week:
*Please have your child bring an old beach towel to keep at school for the entire week!
Monday: Field Day Please have your child wear his/her purple class t-shirt on this day, along with gym shoes and, depending on the weather, a jacket. You may want to have your child put on sunscreen prior to coming to school. Students may also bring a disposable water bottle if they would like. Since we will be eating in our room, students are encouraged to pack their lunches, although the cafeteria will still be available.
Tuesday: Native American Craft Day
Wednesday: Science Day and Police K9 Summer Safety Visit
Thursday: Cooking Day and Kickball Tournament Please have your child wear gym shoes on this day.
Friday: Maker's Space Day and Coke and Mentos Geysers and Kickball Tournament Semi-Finals and Finals Please have your child wear gym shoes on this day. Students who would like to set off their own geysers will need a 2-liter of Coke, Diet Coke, or Coke Zero.
Looking ahead to our final week...
-Our end-of-the-year awards assembly is scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, May 23rd at 9:00. Students who are being recognized at the assembly will receive a letter late this week.
