This week we will be learning...
Math: We will spend time this week reviewing our strategies for double and triple-digit subtraction.
Word Study: We will be learning about irregular verbs. Many verbs become past tense by simply adding -ed, but irregular verbs are different: go-->went, fight-->fought, etc.
Reading: We will continue reading The One and Only Ivan and taking careful notes about the new things we learn about the main characters. We will consider what we know about each character and how that can help us understand the characters' actions.
Writing: We are continuing to work diligently to prepare for the Poet Tea! This week we will be publishing our poetry portfolios, as well as working on a surprise!
Social Studies: We will be learn more about goods and services, consumers and producers, and needs and wants by working on an imaginary assembly line.
Poetry: Our poem for the week is called "Where I Find Poetry."
Have a wonderful week!
